The “Masstransiscope,” an art installation in the abandoned Myrtle Avenue subway station (near the Brooklyn side of the Manhattan Bridge), explained.
I believe it was Casey who once remarked how delightful it is to watch people on the Q and B trains notice it for the first time. The installation is whimsical, bright, but quite subtle — when everyone else is looking down at their phones or magazines, it feels like a secret message just for you.
