Straight out of my home town, St. Paul, MN, I present to you the Gangster Burger. It joins the ranks of deep-fried cheese curds, lutefisk dinners, hot “dago” sandwiches, Pearson’s Nut Roll, and beer-battered walleye on a stick. I always know I’m home when can’t see around the people in front of me at the baggage claim.

Two half-pound hamburgers, three six-ounce steaks, a half-pound of gyro meat and a half-pound of Italian beef, topped with six slices of cheese. St. Paul is a strange and magical place. Only in the Midwest, dear readers! (via Andy Sturdevant)

Is that a Diet Coke in the background of this photo? I think it is. Oh, that makes me happy.
