LEED AP, thats me
Yesssss, I passed the LEED exam. How smart am I? !
And for those of you that haven’t heard of it, LEED is the rating system for certifying green buildings through the US Green Building Council. I was skeptical of the system prior to learning it, judging it to be a half-ass way to approach environmentally-conscious design. Now I appreciate its comprehensive approach to the whole building process. So, as an Accredited Professional, I can manage projects pursuing LEED certification, put the ‘LEED AP’ on my business card, and in my friend, Sandra’s words, be ‘certified organic’. Hell yeah…Happy as can be.
Very, very smart. Congratulations!
Today in a meeting with LEED-certified architects and engineers, I said, “My roommate is sitting for her LEED exam right now, so let’s all send her some good luck vibes!”
Andrea hasn’t told me if she felt a little kick at 10:04 am, but I like to think I helped. Of course, there was also the fact that she has been studying
- Morning
- Noon
- And night
for weeks now.
Job well done. And for your prize: a roasted chicken awaits you at home!
