I’m not afraid to say I want to change the world. Something in me clicked a few months ago, and pessimism and apathy, which have clung to me since I started college in 2000, fell away. In the political realm, I’d like to help accomplish two things:

Build a lasting progressive movement (as Fred Graver put it: “What happens to BarackObama.com?”)

Create a Green Jobs Task Force as a permanent part of the Department of Labor and put Americans to work combating climate change

And personally: publish this teen novel, extend it into a series, and make a pot of money.
