On Saturday we enjoyed the Winter Tasting at Corton with our dear friends Meghan and Brett (last seen in SF for New Year’s). Corton was one of the first fancy restaurants M. took me to, and if anything it’s gotten better over time.

I mean edible glitter in chocolate is one thing (see second to last photo — the “panettone” course)…

but ruby red glitter in the beetroot and foie gras “spiral”?? 

THAT is glamorous.

And playful!

Exactly what fancy restaurants should be.

What a treat.
