“Dinner” / “Breakfast”
I ate half of a leftover homemade turkey burger with olive/tomato/mint relish when I got home late last night (drinking on empty stomach at College Humor party — because apparently I’ve learned nothing from my own college experiences. Dumb. Why didn’t I take a cue from Nick, who had his usual supply of deli meats and cheeses, pretzel rods, and more?)
I ate the other half of the burger just now. Even better as breakfast. I’m an oats and soy milk and flax seed girl, but sometimes I just want umami in the morning.
Damn, that relish is gooood, if I do say so. Recipe will go on Great American Cooking Project today-ish. Incredibly fresh and fragrant mint was provided by Jose’s greenhouse.
