Interesting concept. Do you think it has a future?

The socialist in me says I’d like to think so, though it needs to reach a critical mass of committed users and, equally important, honest ratings.  Angie’s List took a while to get off the ground, but it seems to be pretty useful now (I haven’t used it since 2006, when I used it to plan landscaping for my parents, but the fact that they’ve expanded to include doctors must mean something).

I dig the concept but the video kind of creeps me out.  The cheerful, rotating graphics and happy-looking stereotype stock figures remind me of the vaguely immoral self-improvement infomercials they parody in movies like Endless Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
