One bunch kale, one bunch celery, half a bunch parsley, half a green apple & one lemon. (Normally I’d also add ginger or cayenne but my fruit juice today is a super-spicy-and-gingery concoction modeled on Liquiteria’s The Killer XX so I wanted to keep this mild.)
I’ve gotten quite good at doing at-home juice diets* on the cheap. This is the equivalent of the 2-3 green juices you’d get with Blueprint. Then I’ll have 16 oz of the aforementioned spicy apple juice and, of course, 8 oz of the beloved cashew milk to end the day. (It’s cheaper and easier to do fewer juices each day, and just make larger quantities.)
Comes in at $10-15 a day. Plus about an hour of prep time over three days (I’ve only ever done three days — this will be my first real five-day). When you compare it to $200+ three-day diets … not bad.
* Will always refuse to call it a cleanse. It’s a fucking diet.
