“China vaulted past competitors in Denmark, Germany, Spain and the United States last year to become the world’s largest maker of wind turbines, and is poised to expand even further this year.” (NYT) And if you missed it: Bin Laden recently called for “drastic solutions” to global warming, and “not solutions that partially reduce the effect of climate change.” (M. thinks this is proof positive he’s on the GOP payroll. Not as crazy as it seems: I once watched Glenn Beck lambast the Copenhagen climate talks just because Ahmadinejad and Chavez were in attendance — all the proof he needed that “global warming” is a plot to destroy America.)
