gauntlet: One more from here because they are so good. The real ads are vile. I love what Ms Schwartz and friends have done with ‘em. And on a related note: Yay! Good dads rule, whether they were virgins when they married or metrosexuals or martini drinkers or revolutionaries or computer programmers. I owe everything I’ve got to mine. It’s interesting: in my tight group of girlfriends, we’ve all got very positive relationships with our dads, and our parents are still married (with one exception: K’s got great parents but they’re long divorced; she’s the one who got married last year, not surprising!). We’re unalike in so many ways; I find it interesting that we’ve got this good dad thing in common. (One girl has dropped out of our group completely — she’s the one with an extremely bad dad. Could it have anything to do with who she has become, compared to us?)
