The Daily Mail’s “Hippy-crite” index lashes out at celebs for flying private while preaching carbon reduction. This is something that’s bothered me for awhile. I know that people like DiCaprio, Pitt, and Jolie, as well as many corporations, off set travel by restoring rainforest, but they wouldn’t have to if they didn’t burn so much fossil fuel way up there in the delicate parts of the sky. Alternately, they could fly commercial (not great but much better), burn through their money planting trees, and have a positive net impact.
