Just found out M. and I are spending a week or so in Bogotá in late October. This is, obviously, very exciting, not only for the opportunity to really explore a city that we got a brief but intriguing glimpse of during our fabulous Cartagena trip in 2010 — but to escape this godforsaken, mind-numbing, fist-balling election for seven blissful days just as the rhetoric reaches its feverish, fact-bashing pitch.
Our brain cells will thank us later.
