From NYT: “Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton needs three breaks to wrest the Democratic presidential nomination from Senator Barack Obama in the view of her advisers…”

  1. Roust Obama in Pennsylvania*
  2. Lead in popular vote when primaries end in June**
  3. Undermine Obama’s Golden Boy image*** (and peel off his superdelegates)

* Support her contention that she does, in fact, kick ass in the big states

** Obama’s edge over Clinton = 700,000 votes out of 26 million cast (excluding disputed Florida & Michigan)

*** His rogue pastor’s remarks might have done the trick, but Obama’s speech yesterday was lucid, intelligent, honest, and very well-received, even by some Clinton supporters
