I don’t normally publish questions but first of all, Emily called me the shit (!), and second, EVERYONE SHOULD MAKE THIS ALL THE TIME. Here’s the double batch I made for two Fourth of July parties. I got all the ingredients at our bodega and made it in 10 minutes flat:
As she said, it couldn’t be easier:
Take 8 oz/1 block feta (I generally prefer goat’s milk), 8 oz/1 regular tub sour cream, 1 bunch scallions, about 1/2 bunch parsley, and 1 lemon. Crumble the feta, finely chop the scallions and parsley, juice the lemon. Combine everything. Season with freshly ground black pepper. Serve with pita, pita chips, this amazing bread, and/or baby carrots/crudites. Accept compliments.
