A link to the very weird, very cheesy dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence by America’s heroes, for America’s heroes that preceded the game tonight. They didn’t skip a line, not even that bit about breaking free of merry old England. What does any of it have to do with football? (I know, I know, if you have to ask…)
This is the sort of thing that led me to flee America for a few years after 9/11. I thought we were over with it. (But then again, this is Fox.)
I especially loved the historical reenactment. Powdery wigs + Tom Brady humilated = hot dreams tonight.
