I never do this, but I’m really proud of this one….

My work-hommies and I are putting together a conference on NYC’s badass new green building legislation plus the nitty-gritty on financing and implementing energy efficient retrofits.

This shit’s the bomb. We’re already the most efficient city in the country (suck it, San Francisco) and this is the real-world, unsexy stuff that’s going to get us to super-green.

The legislation — and the A-team we’ve assembled for the conference — make me proud to be a New Yorker. And my boyfriend just makes me proud to be alive and kickin’ it with him. He blew ‘em all away at a meeting last month and they had to have him speak at the conference. Dude is SMART. Speaks in FULL PARAGRAPHS and shit, like Odizzle Obama.

It’s so freaking hot.
