Top Chef episode 11 dinner: cider-glazed chicken breast and fennel and apple salad (both adapted from the Food Lover’s Cleanse), and broccoli rabe with pine nuts, garlic, and lemon.
Great episode, right? It helps that they gave them an actual challenge instead of another boring pander to the Texas tourist bureau. Let’s hope they keep it up.
Oh and hey guess what (this is only slightly related): JEFFREY STEINGARTEN KNOWS WHO I AM. 
I mean.

See, M. chatted with him tonight at a Momofuku friends and family shindig and he said he remembers the NYT article I was in and he thought my story was, quote, more interesting than the other dude’s.
So I got that going for me. :)
