Welcome to the Hamlet of Guilty Pleasures. Population: everyone.
After five “tasting pours” of wine (read: full glasses) on Saturday, Laura and I were riding the express train to Girl Bonding Town. Of course we stopped in the Hamlet of Guilty Pleasures, where we both admitted we’re kind of addicted to wedding blogs.
“It’s not like I want to get married any time soon!” she said, “I just like pretty things!”
“Exactly!” I said, “Pretty things and parties and LOVE!”
And then, just as I was about to start telling her about one of my all-time favorite wedding photography blogs, M. walked in the room. We pretended to be talking about mutual friends.
Dee-de-dee. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Anyway, I’m saying it loud and proud: Our Labor of Love is a super-hip wedding photography company run by a married couple, and their blog rocks. They shot one of the most gorgeous weddings I’ve ever seen, as well as this one, which got quite a bit of attention.
They collaborate with The Flashdance, an equally hip wedding DJ. Check out this awesome security footage video of the dance floor at a wedding.
