Since moving to a pretty apartment on the Brooklyn waterfront a couple months ago, Julie and her boyfriend have been going to Colonie for brunch non-stop. I see why. The food! So good. I had farro with a fried egg and steak frites, each slice cooked perfectly medium-rare (must be sous vide). Liz gave me a bite of her ricotta gnudi with plump cherry tomatoes. A lot of restaurants serve this style of food but few do it so well.
