Thought for Food

A church — and shadow church — in the 20th Arrondissement, where we stayed while we were in Paris (we’re in Cereste, a village in Provence, now, and will be heading to Lyon and Dijon before spending one more night in Paris on Friday).

We did an apartment swap with a lovely woman we met on Craiglist and I know we probably got lucky but I can’t say enough good things about the arrangement. It helped that we got to meet her in NYC before we left. We got to explore a very non-touristy neighborhood and truly make ourselves at home for almost a week (a luxury!). Nathalie, if you’re reading this, we’re ready to do it again just as soon as you say the word!
