grapefruite: Stone Barns I would love to go volunteer here for a day, or on any farm for that matter.  Lately I’ve been craving some hands-on work with nature…. No, my farm-curious friend, eat there, don’t work there! People are lining up to volunteer. It’s no wonder the place is as glossy and eerily grimeless as Disneyland — all that free labor (even child labor, for Pete’s sake!). How about Queens County Farm Museum? You can talk to Mark about it on Friday. Or the Red Hook Community Farm? Better yet — why don’t we coordinate with my Urban Agriculture Study Group at CUNY? Field trip!
