tragos:

Hello everyone. Mrs. Tragos and I would like to introduce you to Baby Tragos (otherwise known as Iona Love). She was born on Sunday, September 11th at 9:14am. Today we were able to introduce Iona to her home in Ankara. So far she seems to like it. I asked if she had any comments to relate to the Tumblr universe.
She said, and I quote: “More food. And a nap.”

Oh. My. GOODNESSSSS!!!
She’s a beauty!
Smart and powerful, too.
As I wrote to her parents just this morning (before I knew she was already born) her decision to stay for as long as she could in a cozy and peaceful place, a place where food was delivered straight to her belly, a place where she could grow as strong and mighty as she could before she put her head down for the Big Push — that belies native intelligence. And to boldly burst on the scene on a sad and infamous date at the very crossroads of east and west, as if to say, “You wanted hope? I’ve got that! Give me a few decades and I’ll give you a brand new world.” — that is the work of a born leader.
Bravo, Iona! Welcome. I love you already, little Love.
(And now I’m crying at my desk. :)
