terrysdiary: The Freedom Tower In 2008, the developers changed the building’s name because big-ticket tenants — namely Condé Nast — didn’t want their HQs in a place called the Freedom Tower. (I wouldn’t either.) And yet so many people — even in-the-know Tumblr types — persist in calling it that…. I wonder if it’ll ever shake that (misguided) mantel?
